Artist Bio:
Diogo Mão de Ferro aka IRONHAND is a musician, guitarist and sample maker from Porto, Portugal. Known to be fluent in Blues, Soul, R&B, Funk and Hip Hop, he has collaborated both in studio and live with numerous national artists, such as Macaia, Jimmy P, Gonçalo Santana, João Pequeno, António Mão de Ferro, Minnemann Blues Band, Peter Storm & The Blues Society, among others.
 
Along with João Belchior, he created the blues duo “The Smokestackers”, where he explores more the sound of the slide guitar. The duo has played in some of the most important Portuguese blues festivals, sharing the stage with names like Doug MacLeod, Corey Harris Trio, The Legendary Tigerman.
